Long-term collaboration

We offer the following services to our long-term clients

Unique prices, predictable costs

Our long-term clients benefit from framework service agreements that set mutually agreed individual prices for various translation and proofreading tasks. Because our pricing is based on the word count of the source text, we usually provide an exact total cost at the time the order is placed. This ensures that clients can anticipate their translation expenses with confidence.

Working with effective translation memories

Using various computer-assisted translation (CAT) software tools, we create and continuously expand specialized databases known as translation memories (TMs). A key advantage of these translation memory systems is that previously translated content stored in the TM can be reused in future projects, ensuring consistent terminology, faster turnaround times, and more competitive pricing.

Processing of various file formats

Using our character counting and computer-assisted translation tools, we can evaluate the length of virtually any editable file, from simple Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations to HTML, or perhaps XML or InDesign files. Additionally, optical character recognition (OCR) software enables us to process documents submitted in PDF or scanned formats.

Processing orders faster and simpler

Our contracting partners no longer need to request a quote or complete and return a purchase order form. They can simply express their intention to place an order via email or through our online PM system, and then send the source text. Our project managers will review and analyze the submitted materials, confirm the exact price and deadline, and promptly initiate the project.

Handling glossaries and terminology databases

Setting up and developing glossaries, terminology databases is especially recommended for large translation projects and long-term collaborations. Together with our clients, we compile a list of the most frequently used special terms in the source text and their corresponding equivalents in the target language. This mutually agreed-upon terminology is then applied throughout the translation process to ensure that the final translations fully meet our clients’ expectations

Processing and translating PDF and scanned documents

With the help of optical character recognition (OCR) software, even non-editable PDFs or scanned documents can be processed. This conversion produces editable text—usually in an MS Word file—that serves as the basis for the translation. Consequently, the completed translation is delivered to the client maintaining the original layout (or a close approximation), along with the same formatting, figures, and illustrations.
